Research Experience:                    With Dr. Judah Folkman, Harvard Medical School,

                                                                In Tumor Angiogenesis.  In Dr. Folkman’s Laboratory, I engaged in

                                                                Research related to the role of mast cells in tumor

                                                                Angiogenesis.

                                                                With Dr. Poirier, Duke University.

The major effort of this research was the synthesis and physical characterization of a set of structurally related compounds that exhibit liquid crystallinity.                                  

                                                                With Dr. Cadman, Yale Medical School.

Under Dr. Cadman, I engaged in research assessing the synergism between methotrexate and 5-fluorouracil against human breast cancer cells and murine L-1210 leukemia cells.
